Best Best Sims 4 Mods For Mac
I have a Mac computer and I just got the game as soon as it came out. The thing is, I usually played TS3 with Mods and cheats, and it's really bugging me playing this game without any! The only cheats that are working for me are 'Money (X)' which basically gives me any amount of simoleons that I type in after the word money. The cheat 'testingcheats on' which lets me shift click on a Sim and a few little commands will come up, same for teleporting and the mail box. Motherlode, rosebud and kaching work but I never use them, and that's that. The SKILL cheats I've found on CARL's guide don't work for me, for some reason, unless I'm typing them wrong.
And the moveobjects cheat doesn't seem to work either. I don't know if these cheats are for PC only, but if anybody knows the CORRECT cheats for a MAC then let me know. And if anybody has links to really good MODS (no clothing or sliders please or anything involving CAS, just gameplay) then please link me! I'm having such a hard time finding things out.
Sims 4 Macbook Mod
I got all my mods from Mod the Sims. Shimrod, Dr Chillgood, Plastic Box, Egurah, Madame Butterfly. Just stick with the package mods for the moment though as the script mods (the ones that are zipped with instructions not to unzip) will crash your game. If you just want cheats, TwistedMexi has a nice lot here: I should add that the cheats are the same for the PC and the Mac. If they are not working for you, perhaps the code has changed in the game so they are no longer relevant or you might be mistyping them.

You always need to have testingcheats on but also note, it switches itself off especially if you go travelling or change houses so always best to retype it to be sure. For gameplay I really like a lot of Madame Butterfly's mods over at - you have to register to download but it's free and they're a fun group there anyway. Some of the ones I really recommend: Faster Showers - I'd forgotten to put that one back in and when my Sim took forever to shower before work yesterday I got reminded to grab it. Stuff Breaks Less Easily - you can get this in different flavors; you might want to keep some ability for items to break so you have the opportunity to build Handiness skill by repairing, but it gets a bit much when the shower, the sink and the toilet all break when you've got 5 minutes before running out the door for work.
Faster Painting/Writing/Programming - These are probably a bit more 'cheaty' than some players would prefer, but it's nice to be able to speed up some of the tasks that you have to get done.
Custom Food Interactions Custom Food Interactions completely changes the way food works in The Sims 4. This mod adds new custom foods, new recipes, and adds these new features to stoves and fridges throughout The Sims 4. In terms of new gameplay features, The Custom Food Interactions doesn’t really add anything. It does, however, add a bit of variety to how food works in The Sims 4. I’m always for more choices and this mod adds a huge variety of new food-related choices for you to make for your Sims so it gets my thumb of approval. Sims 4 Go To School Mod Pack The Go To School mod pack adds a huge new gameplay feature to The Sims 4.
With the Go To School mod pack, you’re able to follow your teen and child Sims as they go to school. Child Sims will go to Elementary school and teen Sims will go to High School. You can be there with your Sims as they attend different classes – you can interact with the teacher NPC to access different subjects and then demonstrate your knowledge by taking part in different themed activities. There are five different subjects in total: Personal Development, Problem Solving, Creative Arts, Health/Fitness and Science/Technology. After your classes, you can go to lunch break and take part in unique goals that encourage you to get your Sim socializing with other students. You can also unlock new rewards for taking part in special opportunities from the Principal NPC. There are also Caterer, Janitor, and Counsellor NPCs that can be interacted with.
If you ever feel like the time between your Sim’s childhood and adulthood can be quite boring, this mod will give you enough things to do to keep you entertained. Please note that you need the Get To Work expansion for the mod to work and some features of the mod require you to have the Get Together and City Living mods. UI Cheats Extension If you’re the kind of person to jab in cheat codes when things get difficult, you’ll really like this neat UI Cheats Extension mod. You can use this mod to make it easier to enter cheats and modify the values of certain statistics in-game. Once installed, this mod essentially gives you the ability to click on anything and change its value.
As an example, you can click on a Sim’s needs bar and change its value. The value range is from -100 (negative) to 100 (positive.) You can left click your money to instantly gain $1000 – spam it as much as you want to gain even more money. Right clicking your money allows you to set the household funds. Open up the relationship panel and right click on a Sim to change the friendship or romance levels from -100 to 100. You can also right click on moodlets to remove it completely, right click aspirations to fulfill it instantly, right click skill bars to set the skill level from 1 to 10 and right click the in-game clock to set the time from 0 to 23.
There are a few other tools and feature that are available to those that use this UI Cheats Extension mod. MC Command Center The MC Command Center is considered to be one of the most valuable mods for all Sims 4 players. With this mod, you’re able to change how the world evolves whilst you’re not there. This mod is incredibly powerful – it can make an otherwise dead world feel alive and breathing even when you’re not keeping an eye on it. Without the MC Command Center mod, nothing in The Sims 4 evolves without you directly interacting with it. Your Sims won’t live their lives, they won’t progress relationships and they won’t grow their own families unless you’re there to nudge them along the way. With the MC Command Center mod, this all changes.
All Sims in your game will start to live their own lives without any prompt from you. You can go about your own business and then come back later to find your other Sims making progress or causing havoc without you. There are also plenty of modules that can be used to increase the usefulness of the MC Command Center mod. As an example, you can download a module that can be used to determine which outfits can and can’t be worn by Sims and have more direct control over how Sims automatically dress themselves up without your input. Time Speed Changer Have you ever noticed how in the Sims universe, it can often take a Sim half a day just to have a shower or clean up a mess in the kitchen? This is because whilst the day/night cycle in the Sims is far faster than the real world day/night cycle, the activities that Sims take part in still take roughly the same time they would in real life. The Time Speed Changer mod fixes this problem by allowing users to change the time it takes in real life for one day to pass in the Sims.
The mod creator mentions that the default Sims speed setting is 30, whilst 200 will give you roughly the same day/night cycle as Skyrim. With this, you’re given a canning station that’s similar to the one that was featured in The Sims 3. You can use the canning station to make preserves of different kinds – this includes jams, pickles, and spreads.
The Functional Canning Station mod also introduces a new 10-level canning skill – the higher your skill, the more exciting preserves can be made.
