Using Cc For Mac
Hi there I have a mini running Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) and a MacBook running OSX 10.13.2. Both are connected to the same router through WiFi, both have access to the Internet and I can ping each from the other. I have installed Remote Desktop v10 (and v8.043) on the MacBook. I've configured it according to the instructions but I appear to be missing something. My account in MyName on the Windows machine, it has a PIN assigned to my username and there's a password associated with my MS account.
Which should I use for a password? I don't have a network defined - everything just connects to the router.
How do I define the machine's names? Under MS-RD v10, I get this error ' Error code: 0x3000067' if I define the gateway as my router IP address. When I don't define a gateway, I get ' Error code: 0x3'. I have tried getting MS-RD v8 to run too - I get 'Connection Refused' when I try to establish a link. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the IPv4 address for the remote machine rather than its easy to remember name. You can get this by cmd ipconfig /all. The easy-to-remember might work on a managed network but it doesn't work on mine!
Obtain the default gateway from the remote machine by using ipconfig /all. If both machines are on the same router, the router will probably be the same as the IPv4 address but with a 1 as the final digit. If you are logging in to an admin account, then make sure to click the admin button. So now I have it working. I did a quick test and the MS RD app is dog-slow compared with TeamViewer. In all honesty, I don't know why I went through all this effort. I think I have this one figured out.

Cc and Bcc work differently in Direct Mail than in other email apps Cc and Bcc recipients are handled differently in Direct Mail than what you might be used to in other email programs. When you add a Cc recipient, he or she will receive a copy of each email sent to each person on your list. For example, if you add 'joe@example.com' as a Cc address and then send your message to a list of 100 people, then 'joe@example.com' will receive 100 emails (one email for each person on the list). Instead of adding Cc or Bcc recipients to your message, in most cases it is more appropriate to simply add them to your mailing list in the Addresses tab. If you are using the Pay Per Email plan, then each Cc or Bcc address will require extra email credits.
